With advanced technology the energy consumption in the world will rise continuously. The total world energy consumption rises from 579195*1015 joules in 2012 to 859825*1015 joules in2040, an increase of48%. Energy Performance Standardsor Minimum Energy Performance Standards MEPS are the specified energy efficiency levels products must meet before they can be legally sold. These mandatory standards are set at levels that balance the technical possibility with economic viability and competitive forces within a particular market. That was taken as one of the measure on energy use efficiency contribution.
In my research am proposing to look on the roles of set and implementing those standards which are the specifications that containing a number of performance requirements for an energy use which efficiently limit the maximum Amount of energy that maybe consumed by an equipment during performing of the specific work or assignment that was designed for.
