Signature Healthcare Limited is a locally incorporated private pharmaceutical company that specializes in the marketing and distribution of pharmaceuticals, surgical disposables and laboratory reagents. In the recent time, the company’s client base has grown tremendously with over 3000 clients. And as a result of this, effective communication and record management has become a serious challenge to the company, and secondly, the sale representatives can no longer handle the increased task e.g. submission of daily reports, client visit planning. Thirdly, the clients complaints has become rampant concerning the taking of orders, deliveries and customer care. Fourthly, there has been poor coordination between the head office and field sales agent in terms of assigning duties and allocation of resources. Based on the above mentioned challenges, the company has noticed that it has unstable client base because it is losing more clients and has a reduced customer loyalty. Some of the clients are not resisting the urge of moving on to other competitors in the market, who appears to be outwit the company in terms of winning and retaining more clients. Proposed solution The proposed solution is to develop a cross-platform system (Mobile, desktop and web-based) which can be accessible by company personnel and clients. The system should provide solution to problems facing the following entities of the company: 1. Pharmaceutical sales and marketing, by solving the gap between information delivery and feeedback between the head office and the field sales agent. 2. Medical advisory, by enabling faster access to information concern new products or change of products 3. Regulatory affairs, enable realtime delivery of information to from head office concerning change in regulations and terms e.g client payment terms, sales representatives reports and incentives etc. 4. Procurement, improve chances of acqurng tenders from corpoartions and institutions 5.
