We are developing and teaching a low-cost science and engineering lab for university students. Our goals are 2-fold: (1) to teach critical thinking and technical skills, and (2) to keep costs low by building our own science equipment such as oscilloscopes, voltage supplies, and injection molds. We currently offer 6 modules that are each 4 weeks long: Introduction to Scientific Thinking (taking measurements, Python, data analysis, presentations); Electronics Recycling; Digital Electronics; Plastics Recycling; Electrochemistry; Solar Energy; Independent Project.
