One of the Rwandan Techwomen initiatives, Technovation Challenge , a global technology entrepreneurship program and competition for young women that put together through an intensive 3- month, teams of young women to imagine, design, and develop mobile apps, then pitch their “startup” businesses to judges and be able to sell it in their markets.

The Technovation competition puts a purpose behind programming, challenging young girls to team up in a team of up to 5 people, then connect them to a teacher and a mentor who will inspire them with skills such as technology, entrepreneurship and designing business plans that will make their products more competitive.

The Technovation Challenge Regional Pitch is kicking off for the third time at kLab on 16th April 2016.

Kigali US Embassy ambassador is the guest of honor.
