Teaching assistants (TAs) are sought for Semester 2 of the CMU-R MSIT program (Jan 14-May 10). The TA for the course 04-612 Innovation Management and Business Strategy will be responsible for:

• preparing assignments and exercises, along with solutions for assignments;
• holding recitations and provide support for software tools;
• grading homework assignments and grades;
• holding office hours to answer the students’ questions and help them with exercises.

Qualifications: Candidates for this CMU-R TA positions must have earned an MBA or an MS in a related field, or have comparable professional experience related to the course. For 04-612 Innovation Management and Business Strategy, the TA must also have experience in developing business plans, including skills in market analysis, market segmentation, portfolio analysis, strategy development, and marketing plans.

Time Commitment: TAs are expected to work an average of 10-12 hours per week—the number of hours may vary from week to week depending on the needs of the course.

Pay: Qualified CMU-R TAs will be paid on an hourly basis at the rate of 27,000 RwF /hour (gross).
